Sim Moto FAQ and Tips

Three bikes, four maps, and a whole lot of ramps built for absolute chaos - that's basically the pitch here. Sim Moto leans into the physics-toy side of motorbike gaming rather than a strict racing sim, so don't come in expecting lap times and podiums. Instead you get a Racer, a Police bike, and a Cross model, each handling with its own weight and balance, and playgrounds stuffed with platforms clearly designed by someone who really wanted to see bikes fly. It runs right in the browser through WebGL, no install nonsense, which makes it an easy thing to poke at for ten minutes or an hour.

Top Tips

Start with the Cross bike if you're new, since it's the most forgiving when you land a jump crooked, which you will, a lot. The boost button is tempting to spam but it works better as a tool for clearing gaps than for pure speed runs, so save it for the moment right before a ramp instead of holding it the whole way there. Camera angles matter more than they seem to at first - switching views can completely change how you judge distance on a jump, so don't just stick with the default if you're clipping landings. When a stunt goes wrong, and it will, the reset bike command is your best friend; it's faster than restarting the whole run just because you flipped into a wall. The Police bike's lights are purely cosmetic fun, but flicking them on before a big jump somehow makes the landing feel more dramatic, which counts for something.

Controller & Keyboard Guide

  • Arrow keys or WASD move and steer the bike
  • Space bar applies the handbrake for sharp stops or drifts
  • C switches between camera views
  • Shift triggers a speed boost
  • R resets the whole scene, G resets just the bike
  • E toggles the police lights, X hides the on-screen instructions
